This Broccoli and Sausage Casserole Recipe is perfect for a family of four or less with the possibilities for leftovers for the next day.
If you are Lactose Intolerant, then you can easily make changes to fit your lifestyle such as: Alfredo Sauce (Plant Based “Simple Truth” Brand), Milk (Lactose Free), Butter (Plant Based “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” Brand).
Ingredients:
- (2) 16oz Jar of Alfredo Sauce
- (1/3 cup) Milk
- (1 lb.) Mild Italian Sausage (Chopped)
- (1) 12oz Bag of Frozen Chopped Broccoli (Thawed & Drained)
- (1) 16oz Bag of Egg Noodles
- (1) 16oz Bag of Mixed Cheese
- (2) Red Bell Peppers (Chopped)
- (1) 3oz Bag of Bacon Bits
- (1 tbsp) Butter
- Cooking Spray
- Canola Oil
- Seasoned Salt
- Greek Seasoning
- Roasted Garlic Seasoning
- Basil.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Get a large mixing bowl and mix the Alfredo Sauce and Milk together.
- Place Sausage into the skillet with Cooking Spray.
- Cook thoroughly. Place sausage into mixing bowl and mix.
- Place the Broccoli in the bowl and mix.
- Cook the Noodles thoroughly as directed with a dash of Canola Oil and Butter.
- Drain the Noodles. Place them inside the bowl and mix.
- Place the Red Peppers into the skillet with Cooking Spray.
- Cook the peppers until they are slightly roasted. Place Peppers into bowl and mix.
- Place half of Cheese into bowl and mix.
- Add a dash of Seasoned Salt, Basil, Roasted Garlic, and Greek seasoning (Amount varies to your preference) and mix.
- Add another dash of Seasoned Salt, Basil, Roasted Garlic, and Greek seasoning (Amount varies to your preference) and mix.
- Place the ingredients into large baking dish.
- Layer the Bacon Bits evenly across the top.
- Layer the rest of the Cheese evenly across the top.
- Bake (Uncovered) for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes to cool.
- Serve and Enjoy!
