Positivity Can Overthrow Negativity

Positivity Can Overthrow Negativity Post Feature Picture

Positivity can overthrow negativity, but how? Negativity impacts all areas of our life? Is it possible to have room for positivity in this negatively impacted world we live in. Is there positivity through all of the hardships, anger, hatred, violence, anguish, and unrest within our society? Of course; although, with all of the adversity and obstacles we face today, we can find ourselves easily discouraged driven by the factors that surround us.

Proverbs 24:10 “If you become discouraged in the day of distress, your strength will be meager.”.

We can beat discouragement with not only with the willingness to do better and positivity, but also with hope. A hope that things will be better and to strive towards it. When the day arrives of when we feel discouraged, we need to hold our head up high and never give up on the hope for a better tomorrow. Even though we have the willingness to positively move forward, anxiety can start to attack.

Matthew 6:34 “So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties … “.

Sometimes we allow anxiety to take over and it discourages us from living a happy and true life. Sometimes that saying “Slow and Steady Wins The Race” actually might have some truth behind it. Let’s take one day and one step at a time. Let’s conquer the adversities and anxieties that stand before us one at a time. However, through all of this effort and conquering, where do we find the strength to ‘carry on’ and reach the light at the end of the tunnel?

Philippians 4:13 “For all things I have the strength through the One who gives me power.”.

But who gives us the power to overcome and how do we obtain such power?

Psalm 1:2-3 “But his delight is in the law of Jehovah, and he reads His law in an undertone day and night. He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, A tree that produces fruit in its season, The foliage of which does not wither, And everything he does will succeed.”.

So if we read the Bible and the principles found within and follow them, we will harness the power of understanding, reasoning, love, and happiness that God has provided for us to overcome such great obstacles in our lives. The saying “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibilities” may seem scary when we face certain situations on our own. God may give us the strength to overcome our less than ideal situations, but He won’t leave us hanging to handle such situations on our own.

Isaiah 41:10 “Do not be afraid, for I am with you … I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, …”.

For when we fall weak to our anxieties, he will strengthen us to carry on.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of Him, and He will make your paths straight.”.

When we rely on our own understanding, we tend to be bias of how WE want things to go and how WE think things should be handled. Our bias reasoning and understanding is not the correct way. It could lead us down the path of emotional, physical, or spiritual destruction. So how do we know that positivity can overthrow negativity?

We need to trust in God and rely on His word by reading and following His principles in order for us to be on the correct path towards a better tomorrow. When we put our full trust in God, He will be right next to us through every step we take as we witness the reality that positivity can overthrow negativity and allow us to live a happier and more fulfilling life. Positivity can enhance our lives now and forever.
