As another year approaches its end, many people have a plethora of opinions on how to explain the year. Some people may think that things couldn’t get any worse, while others believe that the worst is yet to come. There’s no doubt that the last several years have been a very trying period in some way, shape, or form for all of us. As we begin to enter another year, how do you view the question, “What Does The Future Hold?“, either during this year or beyond?
Isaiah 65: 21-22 “They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, nor will they plant for others to eat…”.
Wouldn’t it be nice to build your own house and live in it and grow your own crops for your family?
Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever...”.
Isaiah 33:24 “and no resident will say ‘I am sick’...”.
Revelation 21:4 “And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”.
With the plethora of current health issues that are upon us and possibly facing head-on, it would be absolutely amazing for all sickness and death to be vanquished from existence.
Psalm 37:11 “But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”.
Psalm 37:29 “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.”.
So, not only will death and pain be gone, but we may live forever in abundant peace with no worries upon us.
Some people think that if something sounds too good to be true then it’s probably not real. So the question remains, ‘Is a future of no death, no pain, no sickness, abundance of peace, and having the ability to build our own houses and grow our own crops for ourselves and our family even possible?’.
Matthew 19:26 “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”.
No matter what life throws at us or how impossible things may seem, we have to trust in God and the promises that he has made known to us throughout the Bible.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart...In all your ways take notice of Him, And He will make your paths straight.”.
Remember
Good always triumphs over evil.
And
An amazing future for all of us is approaching quickly upon us.
We must continue to have faith and trust in God and never give up on the promise of a better tomorrow.
